Job summary

PT Remarc Property Group in Bali seeks a Legal Officer to work with the Legal Director and internal teams to manage contracts, documents, and compliance across the company’s property operations. You will draft, review, and revise leases, vendor and management agreements, NDAs, and other commercial contracts, and assist with property-related matters and licensing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law (S.H.).
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant legal experience.
  • Experience in property, real estate, hospitality, corporate legal, or commercial law preferred.
  • Good knowledge of Indonesian contract and commercial law.
  • Strong legal drafting and contract review skills.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Based in Bali.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and revise contracts and legal documents, including leases, vendor and management agreements, NDAs, and POAs.
  • Assist with property and land-related legal matters, including lease transactions and coordination with notaries/PPAT.
  • Review contractual terms and identify potential legal risks.
  • Coordinate the execution and administration of legal documents, including electronic signing and notarization.
  • Assist with licensing, permits, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support handling of disputes, notices, negotiations, and settlements.
  • Assist with employment-related legal matters and documentation.
  • Conduct legal research and provide legal support to management and departments.
  • Maintain records and filing of contracts, permits, corporate documents, and other legal files.
  • Coordinate with notaries, government authorities, external lawyers, clients, vendors, and third parties.

Job description

As a Legal Officer, you will work closely with the Legal Director and internal departments to manage contracts, legal documentation, property-related matters, compliance, and other legal issues arising from the Company's operations.

Key responsibilities

Draft, review, and revise contracts and legal documents, including lease agreements, vendor agreements, management agreements, NDAs, POAs, and other commercial agreements

Assist with property and land-related legal matters, including lease transactions and coordination with notaries/PPAT

Review contractual terms and identify potential legal risks

Coordinate the execution and administration of legal documents, including electronic signing and notarization

Assist with company licensing, permits, and regulatory compliance

Support the handling of legal disputes, complaints, legal notices, negotiations, and settlement matters

Assist with employment-related legal matters and documentation

Conduct legal research and provide legal support to management and relevant departments

Maintain proper records and filing of contracts, permits, corporate documents, and other legal documents

Coordinate with notaries, government authorities, external lawyers, clients, vendors, and other third parties when required

Requirement

Bachelor's Degree in Law (S.H.)

Minimum 1 years of relevant legal experience

Experience in property, real estate, hospitality, corporate legal, or commercial law is preferred

Good knowledge of Indonesian contract and commercial law

Strong legal drafting and contract review skills

Good written and spoken English

Good communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple matters and deadlines

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Experience dealing with notaries/PPAT, government institutions, or external counsel is an advantage

Based in Bali
