Job summary

PT Mattel Indonesia is seeking a Lean Engineer to champion continuous improvement at the Bekasi plant. You will lead Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and lean projects to raise site performance, while developing the lean culture through training and coaching.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering, 3+ years in manufacturing, and fluent English. The role is based in Cikarang - Bekasi with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering is required.
  • Experience with Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing methods is required.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Experience with change management and driving organizational change is preferred.
  • Knowledge of EHS & GMP, ISO 9001/14001, OSHAS 18001 standards is advantageous.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate continuous improvement events across levels and areas (Kaizen, VSM, Projects, Workshops).
  • Lead strategic initiative projects to support site performance.
  • Develop continuous programs and systems for lean culture sustainability.
  • Conduct Lean knowledge transfer and training to build organizational capability.
  • Oversee non-staff development in daily monitoring projects and progression programs.

Job Description:

Facilitate continuous improvement event across levels and areas (Kaizen, VSM, Project, Workshop, etc.);

Lead the strategic initiative projects to support site performances;

Job Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering

3 years of manufacturing experience

Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing experience

Strong project management and problem-solving skills

Experience with change management principles and the ability to drive and manage the change process

Strong abilities in Continuous Improvement planning, training, and leading kaizen events

Have understanding about EHS & GMP standards, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001, and other standards related to Quality, Safety & Environment.

Dynamic personality, proactive, analytical thinking and open minded with' a can do' attitude

Fluent in English-both written and oral

Willing to be placed in Cikarang - Bekasi
