Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is seeking a Technical Support Manager to lead fault finding, deliver safe, prompt solutions, and advise customers across markets. The role blends field service, remote support, and close collaboration with sales and product teams.

You hold a technical degree with 6–10 years’ equipment experience, including hydraulics and DC electrical systems, and you exhibit leadership, communication, and initiative. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Competenze

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• 6–10 years of Sandvik equipment experience and advanced troubleshooting; hydraulic and DC electrical systems.
• Qualified technician in mechanics, hydraulics and electrics.
• Interest in new technology and digitalization trends.
• Proven ability to motivate and guide team members and deliver training.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Mansioni

• Perform Root Cause Analysis and troubleshooting (2nd line support).
• Provide technical feedback to Sales Area and contribute to database inputs.
• Make recommendations based on reports to improve service and processes.
• Adjust systems on client equipment as needed.
• Develop new solutions to prevent recurring problems.
• Provide application advice to Sales and review proposals.
• Lead product launches, testing and commissioning services.
• Support readiness activities for large projects.
• Contribute to NPD with technical input.
• Deliver aftermarket support to Equipment divisions and Sales Areas.
