Job summary

PT. Jaya Agung Teknologi (JAT) is actively seeking a QA Automation Lead to own strategy across web, API, and mobile testing. You will mentor engineers, shape CI gates, and drive end-to-end quality in a distributed multi-tenant platform.

The role emphasizes leadership, hands-on automation, and cross-team collaboration to elevate product reliability. The candidate should bring 4+ years in test automation, 2+ years in leadership, and strong programming skills (Java/Python/Golang).

Qualifications

• 4+ years in test automation.
• 2+ years leading a QA team or owning an enterprise test framework.
• Proficient in Java, Python, or Golang.
• Hands-on with Postman and REST Assured.
• Experience with asynchronous/event-driven systems (e.g., RabbitMQ).
• Familiar with Jira and Zephyr.
• Experience with load testing tools (JMeter or K6).
• Experience running automated suites in CI (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Strong understanding of test types: integration, system, regression, etc.
• Mentorship and ability to drive QA strategy.

Responsibilities

• Own test automation strategy end-to-end and shape CI practices across the org.
• Write and maintain automated tests for web, API, and mobile platforms.
• Define isolated, resettable test data strategies using masked/synthetic data.
• Validate fault modes in distributed systems with Engineering/DevOps.
• Verify state via logs, traces, metrics, and DB queries.
• Integrate test suites into CI as reliable release gates.
• Lead defect triage on production issues and drive regression tests.
• Enforce QA governance, documentation, and recovery procedures.
• Mentor QA engineers and promote best practices.
• Communicate quality status to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
