Job summary

Insurance Company in South Jakarta is seeking a Senior Software QA Engineer with strong test automation experience. You will design and execute regression test suites across WEB, API, and database layers, plus performance and security testing. Candidates should have a minimum 4 years in QA, 2+ years in automation, and familiarity with ISTQB/CSTE certifications.

Java and Python are preferred for automation. The role requires close collaboration with stakeholders within an agile release

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in informatics, electrical, economics, management or engineering.
• Minimum 4 years in Software Quality Assurance.
• At least 2 years in test automation projects including regression testing (WEB, API, DB).
• Experience testing Mobile Apps, Web, Front End and Back End systems.
• Knowledge of performance testing and pentesting.
• ISTQB or CSTE certifications preferred; cloud testing awareness.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Up-to-date with digital trends, technology and standards.
• Understanding of Agile software release processes and regression scripting.
• Proficiency in test management tools (JIRA) and SQL queries.
• Automation languages: Java and Python preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute regression tests for WEB, API, and Database components.
• Coordinate multi-platform testing across Mobile, Web, Front End and Back End.
• Conduct performance tests and security testing (pentesting).
• Collaborate with stakeholders and align with Agile release cycles.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts in Java/Python.
• Utilize JIRA for test management and track defects in a timely manner.
