Hilton Denpasar is seeking a highly skilled Pastry Chef to lead the dessert and pastry section for high-end events. You will craft exquisite pastries, cakes, and breads while maintaining exceptional presentation and consistency.

You will design seasonal menus, manage inventory and costing, and mentor junior pastry staff while upholding strict hygiene and safety standards in a fast-paced catering environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a professional kitchen or bakery.
• Strong knowledge of baking and pastry techniques, ingredients, and presentation.
• Creativity with dessert concepts and menu development.
• Experience with menu costing and pastry item pricing.
• Excellent food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design, prepare, and present a wide range of pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods for events.
• Develop seasonal and innovative dessert menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
• Manage the pastry kitchen inventory, ordering, and cost control.
• Ensure quality, taste, and visual appeal of all pastry products.
• Train and mentor junior pastry team members.
