You will train and inspire a pastry team, ensure high standards of quality and safety, and collaborate closely with the culinary leadership to create innovative menus.

This role requires luxury-hotel experience, strong leadership, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to deliver memorable guest

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Pastry Chef in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong pastry and bakery production skills, including a variety of desserts, bread and confections.
• Excellent leadership and management abilities, with the ability to train, guide and motivate the pastry team.
• Good understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the pastry department and ensure the production of high-quality pastries, desserts, and bakery items.
• Train, guide, and motivate the pastry team to deliver consistent results.
• Collaborate with the kitchen leadership to design and update dessert menus.
