Job summary

Haskoning, a global engineering consultancy, seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer to steer design and delivery of resilient electrical infrastructure for hyperscale data centres in APAC. The role emphasizes technical authority, mentoring, and collaboration with MEP teams to meet project objectives.

You will guide MV/LV distribution, gensets, UPS, and protection strategies, while ensuring QA/QC and adherence to international standards across fast-track projects in a regional context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 10+ years in multidisciplinary design and project delivery for data centres or mission critical facilities.
• Experience delivering hyperscale or colocation data centres preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV distribution, standby generation, UPS and protection coordination.

Responsibilities

• Act as electrical technical authority for data centre projects across Southeast Asia.
• Lead design and coordination of MV/LV distribution systems and power infrastructure.
• Oversee power system studies (load flow, short circuit, arc flash).
• Mentor electrical engineers and ensure QA/QC across projects.
• Represent company in client meetings, FAT/SAT, and commissioning.
