Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking an Electrical Engineer for Data Center projects in Jakarta. The role focuses on designing, validating, and delivering electrical infrastructure for large-scale facilities, covering HV/MV/LV, UPS, generators, transformers, and PDU systems.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in electrical design for data centers or mission-critical infrastructure, strong coordination skills with clients and vendors, and proficiency in AutoCAD/ETAP. On-site work in South Jakarta is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering design or similar.
• Experience with data center or mission-critical infrastructure preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HV, MV, LV systems, UPS, generators, and distribution architecture.
• Proficient in electrical software tools (AutoCAD/ETAP) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical system designs for large-scale data center projects (SLD, load calculations, layouts, BOQ).
• Design and validate HV/MV/LV, UPS, generators, transformers, PDU, and battery backup systems.
• Ensure designs comply with local regulations and international standards.
• Lead technical discussions with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Support construction, commissioning, and site execution with engineering guidance.
• Prepare technical reports and engineering deliverables.
