Job summary

Amino Restaurant Uluwatu is seeking a proactive Barista Lead to manage and develop the cafe's beverage program. You will supervise the barista team, hire and train staff, and ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

You will tailor drink menus, introduce seasonal specials, maintain beverage quality, manage inventory and stock takes, and coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house to keep all menu items available.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of baristas or cafe staff.
• Ability to develop and update beverage recipes and seasonal offerings.
• Strong focus on quality, consistency, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the barista team; handle hiring, training, and termination of staff.
• Develop and update drink recipes; introduce seasonal specials.
• Control beverage quality and consistency; adjust grinders and recipes daily.
• Manage inventory – order supplies, track stock, prevent shortages.
• Conduct regular stocktakes to minimize waste and control costs.
• Organize workspace layout for efficient workflow during rushes.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times.
• Maintain availability of all menu items; liaise with kitchen/FOH as needed.
• Maintain espresso machines and equipment; schedule maintenance when required.
