Job summary

BaliEst Villas Management is seeking an experienced Laundry Operations Manager to lead the setup and daily operations of a new commercial laundry. You will design facility layouts, select equipment, create workflow, and develop SOPs while recruiting and training the team for a B2B hotel/villa laundry service.

The role emphasizes hands-on management in a hospitality laundry environment, ensuring quality, efficiency, and cost control from the ground up.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in professional/commercial laundry operations.
• Experience in hotel, villa, resort, hospitality, or industrial laundry.
• B2B laundry experience serving hotels or villas is a strong advantage.
• Hands-on experience in laundry setup, workflow planning, and equipment selection.
• Good understanding of washing, drying, ironing, quality control, packing, and linen handling.
• Experience developing SOPs, operational standards, and quality controls.
• Experience in team recruitment, training, and supervision.
• Good knowledge of laundry chemicals, inventory, and operational cost control.
• Able to advise on facility requirements and production capacity.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and operational management skills.
• Willing to be involved in the setup phase and daily operations of the new laundry business.

Responsibilities

• Plan the laundry layout, workflow, equipment, and production capacity.
• Advise on machines, utilities, and other operational requirements.
• Set up an efficient workflow from linen receiving to delivery.
• Develop and implement laundry SOPs and quality standards.
• Establish procedures for linen handling, chemical usage, rewash, and quality control.
• Ensure hygiene, safety, and operational standards are maintained.
• Determine manpower requirements and support recruitment.
• Train and supervise the laundry team.
• Monitor team performance and productivity.
• Manage daily laundry operations and production.
• Monitor quality, turnaround time, productivity, and machine performance.
• Identify operational issues and implement improvements.
• Set up and manage collection and delivery processes for clients.
• Ensure accurate order tracking and timely delivery.
• Maintain service standards and client coordination.
• Monitor chemicals, linen, supplies, and inventory.
• Control operational costs and minimize wastage.
• Prepare basic operational reports for Management.
