Job summary

Japfa in East Java is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to conduct wet laboratory analyses, record results in SAP, and support reagent prep and equipment operation.

You will perform method validation, investigate non-conforming results, maintain reagent and glassware inventory, and ensure adherence to HSE and 5S standards.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field and 1-2 years of lab experience, with willingness to be based in Lamongan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Biology, or related field.
• 1–2 years of lab analysis experience in food, feed, pharma, or manufacturing industries.
• Good understanding of wet lab testing, analytical methods, reagent prep, and lab quality systems.
• Willing to be placed in Lamongan, East Java.

Job description

• Conduct wet laboratory analyses in accordance with established procedures and accurately record results in the SAP system.
• Prepare testing activities, including reagent preparation and ensuring reagent quality compliance.
• Operate laboratory equipment, perform method validation/verification, and investigate non-conforming analytical results.
• Maintain inventory records of reagents and glassware, and perform routine maintenance of laboratory instruments and facilities.
• Implement and comply with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) and 5S standards to support a safe and efficient laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Biology, or a related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in laboratory analysis, preferably in the food, feed, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of wet laboratory testing, analytical methods, reagent preparation, and laboratory quality systems.
• Available and willing to work in Lamongan, East Java
• Melakukan analisa laboratorium basah sesuai dengan prosedur yang berlaku serta mencatat hasil analisa secara akurat ke dalam sistem SAP.
• Mempersiapkan kegiatan pengujian, termasuk pembuatan reagen serta memastikan kualitas reagen sesuai standar yang ditetapkan.
• Mengoperasikan peralatan laboratorium, melakukan validasi/verifikasi metode analisa, serta menginvestigasi hasil analisa yang tidak sesuai.
• Mengelola pencatatan stok reagen dan glassware, serta melakukan perawatan rutin terhadap peralatan laboratorium dan fasilitas pendukung.
• Menerapkan dan mematuhi standar K3 (Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja) serta 5S guna mendukung lingkungan laboratorium yang aman dan efisien.

Kualifikasi

• Minimal Sarjana (S1) Kimia, Teknik Kimia, Teknologi Pangan, Biologi, atau jurusan terkait.
• Memiliki pengalaman minimal 1-2 tahun di bidang analisa laboratorium, khususnya di industri makanan, pakan, farmasi, atau manufaktur.
• Memiliki pemahaman yang baik mengenai pengujian wet lab, metode analisa, pembuatan reagen, dan sistem mutu laboratorium.
• Mampu mengoperasikan peralatan laboratorium serta aplikasi komputer, termasuk Microsoft Office; pengalaman menggunakan SAP menjadi nilai tambah.
• Bersedia ditempatkan di Lamongan, Jawa Timur.
