Job summary

JAPFA is seeking a laboratory analyst to operate and maintain polarimeters and spectrophotometers, preparing samples and recording results. The role requires precision, adherence to SOPs, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced lab.

You will ensure safety, contribute to method improvements, and assist in calibration and verification of lab equipment to ensure accurate testing outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemistry or related field.
• Experience operating and maintaining polarimeters and spectrophotometers.
• Strong understanding of analytical chemistry principles and lab techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and record-keeping.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced lab setting.
• Good communication skills, written and verbal.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain analytical instruments, specifically polarimeters and spectrophotometers, to analyze various samples.


• Prepare samples for analysis according to established protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).


• Accurately record and interpret analytical results, maintaining detailed documentation of all tests performed.


• Identify and troubleshoot issues with laboratory equipment and analytical procedures.


• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality control standards within the laboratory environment.


• Contribute to the development and improvement of laboratory testing methods.


• Assist in the calibration and verification of laboratory equipment.


• Operasikan dan melakukan perawatan instrumen analitik, khususnya polarimeter dan spektrofotometer, untuk menganalisis berbagai jenis sampel.


• Menyiapkan sampel untuk analisis sesuai dengan protokol yang berlaku dan Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).


• Mencatat, mengolah, dan menginterpretasikan hasil analisis secara akurat, serta memastikan dokumentasi seluruh pengujian tersimpan dengan baik.


• Identifikasi serta melakukan troubleshooting terhadap permasalahan pada peralatan laboratorium dan prosedur analisis.


• Memastikan kepatuhan terhadap seluruh peraturan keselamatan kerja dan standar pengendalian mutu di lingkungan laboratorium.


• Berkontribusi dalam pengembangan dan penyempurnaan metode pengujian laboratorium.


• Membantu proses kalibrasi dan verifikasi peralatan laboratorium untuk memastikan keakuratan hasil pengujian.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or a related field.


• Proven experience operating and maintaining polarimeters and spectrophotometers.


• Strong understanding of analytical chemistry principles and laboratory techniques.


• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and record-keeping.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced laboratory setting.


• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.


• Minimal Sarjana (S1) Kimia atau bidang lain yang relevan.


• Memiliki pengalaman dalam mengoperasikan dan melakukan perawatan polarimeter serta spektrofotometer.


• Memiliki pemahaman yang kuat mengenai prinsip-prinsip kimia analitik dan teknik laboratorium.


• Memiliki ketelitian tinggi serta akurasi dalam pengumpulan data dan pencatatan hasil pengujian.


• Mampu bekerja secara mandiri maupun dalam tim di lingkungan laboratorium yang dinamis dan berorientasi pada target.


• Memiliki kemampuan komunikasi yang baik, baik secara lisan maupun tertulis.
