Job summary

Packet Systems Indonesia is seeking an IT-security engineer to oversee Palo Alto firewall management and security operations in Jakarta Selatan. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and support changes across client networks, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems.

The role requires 2+ years of Palo Alto experience, strong knowledge of load balancers and proxies, and solid English communication for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Telecommunication from reputable university
• 2+ years of working experience in managing Palo Alto based Firewall Technologies
• Strong knowledge for Load Balance technology (F5), Proxy Technology (Bluecoat) and Routing/Switching
• Deep comprehension of operation and project-based tasks: troubleshooting, device upgrades, hardware deployment, pre-config, migration
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills; good English communication (verbal & written)

Responsibilities

• Provide IT-security engineering support to the client to improve security posture, confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems by identifying and understanding cyber events
• Manage day-to-day operation, monitoring, and operational support of Palo Alto Security solution
• Provide critical support for troubleshooting and corrective actions to maintain security integrity
• Support change requests in customer networks
• Assist with new installations; integrate systems into existing environments and perform migrations
• Provide initial troubleshooting for incoming issues before escalation
• Collaborate with other infrastructure teams and third-party vendors to open cases as part of troubleshooting
• Manage project documentation including Site Survey, MoP, and UAT as build documentation

Job Description:
