Job summary

AMK Technology is seeking an experienced L1b Engineer – DB & Backup to join our Indonesia-based Managed IT Operations Support team on a contract basis. You will own operational workflows, monitor performance, manage tickets, and ensure strict SLA adherence within our MSP framework.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve escalations, analyze root causes, and implement proactive improvements while maintaining thorough documentation and ITIL-aligned

Qualifications

3–5 years in IT operations, technical support, or MSP engineering.
Deep understanding of the L1b DB & Backup domain.
Familiar with ITIL service management and ticketing workflows.
Excellent problem solving and communication with customers.
Based in Indonesia and eligible to work on contract, immediate or short notice availability.
Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Engineering.
Thrives in fast-paced MSP environments.

Responsibilities

Execute specialized technical duties and operational workflows for L1b DB & Backup.
Adhere to SLAs, targets, and KPIs in service delivery.
Manage incident escalations and restore services rapidly.
Coordinate with regional teams and external vendors to maintain uptime.
Drive process improvements and automation across IT operations.
Oversee QA, performance reporting, and security/compliance adherence.
Provide prompt technical assistance and end-user support.
Maintain detailed logs, tickets, and asset records.
