Detailed Job Description

As an L1 Ops Engineer supporting AMK Technology in Jakarta, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of first-line incident triage, continuous network and system monitoring, alarm validation, and routine infrastructure maintenance across multi-tenant environments. Your day-to-day responsibilities include performing continuous infrastructure monitoring and executing first-line incident triage across network operations center (NOC) dashboards, validating system alarms, creating detailed support tickets, and conducting routine infrastructure health checks, executing documented recovery actions, runbooks, and standard operating procedures, escalating unresolved complex incidents to specialist tier-2 and tier-3 engineering squads when needed, maintaining accurate incident records and ensuring timely communication with stakeholders, collaborating closely with cross-functional IT support, systems administration, and engineering squads in shift-based operational workflows, adhering strictly to ITSM processes and IT governance baselines, and managing application requirements, ensuring strict compliance with the minimum 3 years NOC experience requirement, Indonesian nationality, and Jakarta on-site presence. You will utilize your proactive troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills to resolve operational anomalies under strict service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform continuous, real-time monitoring of network infrastructure, servers, and applications from a centralized NOC.
• Execute first-line incident triage, alarm validation, ticket creation, and severity classification.
• Conduct routine infrastructure health checks, system audits, and preventive maintenance routines.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3+ years of progressive professional experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC), Service Desk, or Infrastructure Operations environment.
• Strong, demonstrable hands-on professional expertise in Linux operating systems and foundational networking principles (TCP/IP, routing, switching).
• Comprehensive working knowledge and practical experience with enterprise monitoring tools, alarm validation, and ticket creation.
• Deep practical proficiency in ITSM processes, standard operating procedures, operational runbooks, and health checks.
• Solid practical experience in incident triage, severity escalation, and documentation best practices.
• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities under high-pressure conditions.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; proficiency in Mandarin is considered a strong professional plus.
• Mandatory Indonesian nationality and physical availability for full-time on-site shift operations in Jakarta (Immediate joiners preferred).
