Skavana Consumer Partners is preparing to launch a new Korean restaurant in SCBD, Jakarta Selatan, and seeks a passionate Sous Chef to join the opening team. You will support the Head Chef, lead a kitchen crew, ensure quality and hygiene, and help establish SOPs and menu standards.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in a leadership kitchen role, experience with premium dining, and strong Korean culinary knowledge to drive a successful opening and ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as Sous Chef or similar leadership role.
• Experience in premium/ upscale dining is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Korean ingredients and cooking techniques.

Responsabilités

• Support the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations
• Ensure food quality, taste, presentation, and consistency
• Lead and supervise the kitchen team during service
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and kitchen standards
• Assist with menu preparation, recipe standardization, and kitchen SOP
• Control food preparation, portioning, and kitchen efficiency
• Support training and development of kitchen staff
• Contribute to a successful restaurant opening and operational setup
