Job summary

Pengiklan Anonim is seeking a Cook Helper to support kitchen operations in a busy food service setting. You will prepare ingredients, maintain hygiene, manage stock, and assist with basic cooking under the Chef’s supervision.

You should have at least SMK Perhotelan / Tata Boga or equivalent, and a minimum of one year experience as Cook Helper or Steward in a restaurant, cafe, or hotel. Good knife skills and FIFO knowledge are preferred; weekend/public holiday work is required.

Qualifications

• SMK Perhotelan / Tata Boga or equivalent SMA with cooking course is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year experience as Cook Helper or Steward in restaurant, cafe, or hotel.
• Good basic knife skills and understanding of FIFO.
• Physical fitness and ability to work quickly in a busy kitchen.
• Honest, disciplined, responsible, and able to work in a team.
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, cut, and weigh ingredients according to recipe standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment; ensure waste disposal.
• Check stock availability in refrigerators/storage; report low or damaged stock.
• Prepare plates/serving containers and assist with basic cooking processes.
• Implement strict food safety and personal hygiene in the kitchen.
