Job summary

McDermott International in Batam, Indonesia is seeking an Associate Structural Drafter to work under close supervision on standard procedures. You will assist in creating drawings from concept to AFC level and learn fabrication processes.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma and familiarity with AutoCAD, TEKLA, Navisworks, and related tools, with an engineering degree preferred, and a basic grasp of API, AISC, ACI, and ASCE codes.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role with close supervision.

Responsibilities

• Carry out design, fabrication, and/or installation drawings up to AFC level.
• Detailed design drawings.
• Fabrication yard sequence and layout drawings.
• Part drawings.
• Assembly drawings.
• Piece mark and NDT drawings.
• As-built drawings.
• CNC data.
• MTO preparation.
• Maintain drawing register and ensure quality per guidelines.
• Issue drawings per client specification and schedule.
