• Minimum High School Diploma, with either a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering or a related field and 3 years of experience; or a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Structural Drafter or similar role in EPCI.
• Strong proficiency in 3D Tekla and 2D AutoCAD/Microstation structural drafting, modeling, and drawing extraction.
• Extensive knowledge of industry codes and standards such as API, AISC, ACI, ASCE.
• Ability to interpret complex drawings, specifications and project requirements accurately.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to communicate with team, clients, and stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and oversee a team of structural drafters to ensure timely completion of fabrication projects in EPCI.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specs, and client requirements to guide the drafting team.
• Collaborate with engineering, project managers, and stakeholders to align drafting with project objectives.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Mentor and coach team members to develop skills and productivity.
• Coordinate with other drafting disciplines to resolve design conflicts for integrated drawings.
• Use AutoCAD, TEKLA, Navisworks, and Revit to create 3D models, shop drawings, and BOMs.
• Support materials requisition, vendor selection, and construction with documentation and as-built drawings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of drafting best practices and new technologies.
• Implement prefabrication, erection methods, and DC reports into shop drawings.
• Incorporate design changes into shop drawings based on SQ, TQ, SI, ARN approvals.
• Maintain discipline and cross-discipline check drawings and filing.
• Report errors and propose resolutions.
