Job summary

PayJoy Indonesia is seeking a senior strategy and business development leader to drive expansion and commercial initiatives across the market.

You will own day-to-day management, monitor performance, and partner with local OEMs to deliver results. The role blends strategy, business development, and hands-on execution with a focus on KPIs and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field from a reputable university.
• 5+ years of experience growing and retaining business while leading a team to exceed revenue targets.
• Hands-on experience building data and analytical tools (e.g., Tableau).
• Proven experience working with major smartphone OEMs or smartphone retailers in Indonesia is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated previous experience in leading and managing an effective sales team and driving engagement.
• Strong data-analysis skills to guide strategic initiatives.

• Formulate and lead monitoring of expansion plans and commercial prospects to optimize results across all project workstreams.
• Establish core success benchmarks and KPIs by converting industry trends into tangible commercial outcomes.
• Orchestrate full-lifecycle flagship projects through coordination, delivery, data review, and reporting to leadership.
• Govern diverse internal and external partnerships while addressing threats to achieve goals as scheduled.
• Present performance reviews and progress updates to the broader team and stakeholders.

This role blends strategy, business development, and hands-on monitoring, driving marketing and sales performance, maintaining store functionality, and partnering closely with local smartphone OEMs to deliver commercial results.

• Govern diverse internal and external partnerships while addressing potential threats to guarantee mission-critical goals are achieved as scheduled.


• Present performance reviews and progress updates to the broader team, including regional and global stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field from a reputable university (UI, ITB, UGM, or overseas).


• 5+ years of experience growing and retaining business while leading a team to consistently exceed revenue targets.


• Hands-on experience building data and analytical tools (e.g., Tableau) to drive decision-making.


• Proven experience working with major smartphone OEMs or smartphone retailers in Indonesia is strongly preferred.


• Demonstrated previous experience in leading and managing an effective sales team, fostering a high-performance culture, and driving team engagement.


• High proficiency in analyzing data to inform decision-making processes, identify trends, and drive strategic initiative.


• Customer-centric approach with a track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
