Job summary

Enterprise Digital Technology Services Edts in Central Jakarta is seeking a junior QA tester fresh graduate to join a hands-on, mentorship-driven program. You will learn and apply testing practices, create test cases, and document defects to improve product quality across features and user flows.

You will collaborate with developers, PMs, designers and QA teams, gaining exposure to API testing, database validation, and various QA tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Fresh Graduate or maximum 2 years of working experience.
• Strong interest in software quality and understanding how technology works.
• Good logical and analytical thinking, with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable breaking down a problem into different scenarios and edge cases.
• Basic understanding of software testing and SDLC.
• Familiar with SQL/database concepts.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of QA automation testing concepts and test automation practices.
• Familiarity with automation testing tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress is a plus.
• Familiarity with QA/test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail is a plus.
• Good communication skills, ability to explain problems clearly.
• Available for 2 years commitment.
• Full WFO at Wisma 46, Central Jakarta.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply software testing practices to ensure applications meet business requirements.
• Understand product requirements and identify risks, edge cases affecting quality.
• Create and execute test cases across features and user flows.
• Investigate issues, identify root causes, provide clear info to help resolve defects.
• Document and track bugs with steps to reproduce, expected vs actual results.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, Designers, and stakeholders.
• Gain hands-on experience with QA tools, API testing, and database validation.
• Develop ability to identify quality risks and suggest process improvements.
• Work on real-world projects and grow QA skills through mentorship and feedback.
