Responsibilities

• Membantu inventaris bahan roti dan mendukung operasi dapur saat layanan.

Role Description

The Junior Pastry Cook is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuta at Shishi Izakaya Lounge & Nightclub, Malverde Tequileria, and Bali Bulldog. This role focuses on assisting in the preparation, baking, and presentation of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes and standards. Daily responsibilities include measuring and mixing ingredients, operating baking equipment, decorating pastries, and maintaining product consistency and quality. The Junior Pastry Cook helps with inventory of baking supplies, supports kitchen operations during service, and collaborates with the culinary team to develop creative pastry items. Maintaining strict hygiene practices, adhering to food safety regulations, and keeping workstations clean and organized are essential parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Foundational skills in Bakery and Baking, with an interest in pastry techniques and baked goods preparation.
• Strong Creativity Skills to develop attractive pastry presentations and contribute ideas for new dessert items.
• Knowledge of kitchen Hygiene and food safety standards, with the ability to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Basic Cooking skills to support overall kitchen operations and assist with related food preparation tasks.
• Previous experience in a bakery, pastry kitchen, or restaurant environment is an advantage.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by venue operations.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a diverse culinary team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and adapt to established recipes and brand standards.
