Job summary

McDermott International is seeking an Associate Dimension Control Tech in Batam, Indonesia. This entry-level position involves working under close supervision to perform surveying tasks, prepare reports, and support calibration activities within a controlled environment.

You will assist with setting out primary control networks, conduct post-weld and pre-weld surveys, and ensure accuracy by following dimension control plans and specifications. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Dimensional Control Tech in establishing a control network.
• Conduct post-weld and pre-weld surveys as defined by the dimension control plan.
• Prepare dimensional control reports and calibration certificates.
• Monitor equipment calibration and ensure use of latest drawings and calibrated tools.
• Operate survey-measuring equipment and apply ITP, codes and specs.
