Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd. in Batam, Indonesia seeks a Production Tech to provide solutions in the Production discipline without supervision, evaluating procedures and selecting optimal approaches.

You will work with engineering to improve maintenance plans, analyze data, and support construction-related activities across multiple systems. The role requires a Diploma in Science/Engineering/CS and 2+ years in an EPCI context, with strong knowledge of 3D design tools and reporting suites.

Qualifications

Diploma in Science, Engineering, or Computer Science is required.
2+ years in a similar EPCI role; 3–5 years in Petrochemical/O&G/Marine fabrication/construction.
Familiar with offshore/onshore EPCI fabrication processes and 3D design data management.
Proficient in MS Office, VBA, Power Query, and Power Automate.
Knowledge of SSRS and Power BI for reporting.

Responsibilities

Perform regular maintenance and inspections on production equipment to minimize downtime.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using standard tools.
Collaborate with engineering to implement preventive maintenance plans.
Assist in coordinating production activities and meet project schedules.
Monitor equipment performance and analyze production metrics for improvements.
Propose process optimization to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure safety and environmental standards compliance.
Publish and retrieve project data into Smart Construction and manage interfaces with external systems.
Provide user training and maintain training materials.
