Job summary

Henkel is seeking an Accounting Analyst in Jakarta to support month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and tax administration. You will collaborate with the Financial Controller and regional teams to translate accounting data into clear analyses and present findings to stakeholders.

The role requires 2–3 years of accounting or audit experience, strong Excel skills, and English proficiency. Expect a hybrid work model and opportunities for growth within a global company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with solid knowledge of journal entries, accruals, provisions, trial balance and financial statements.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting, audit, or financial reporting experience; fresh graduates with strong internships may be considered.
• Working knowledge of Indonesian withholding tax and VAT processes; quick learner of company systems.
• Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, SUMIF/SUMIFS, lookups) and data checks.
• Professional English proficiency for meetings and communications.
• Experience with Big Four or reputable audit firms is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close activities and financial reporting.
• Review revenue recognition and tax-related items and adjust as needed.
• Prepare variance analysis and explain business drivers.
• Maintain provision accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support tax administration and withholding tax processes.
• Coordinate with HR, controllers and regional teams for data and approvals.
• Post and reconcile payroll-related costs and bonuses.
• Support external audits and maintain evidence in portals.
• Contribute to finance improvement projects and UAT.
