Job summary

JAC Recruitment is seeking an Accountant to be the sole finance professional in Indonesia, handling full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, cash flow, and import/export finance activities onsite in Tangerang. You will ensure compliance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards and tax regulations while supporting local and regional management reporting.

The role reports to the general manager in Indonesia with a functional line to the regional finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably within a foreign-owned company.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian taxation and import and export transactions.
• Proficiency in foreign currency accounting and cross-border transactions.
• Business-level English communication skills.
• Mandarin language proficiency will be an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Handle full-set accounting, month-end closing, and statutory financial reporting in compliance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards.
• Manage tax compliance, including PPN, PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 25, corporate income tax, e-Faktur, and DJP filing.
• Oversee import and export finance and tax processes, including value-added tax refunds and customs-related accounting.
• Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense control, and audit coordination.
• Support financial reporting to regional headquarters and maintain compliance with local regulations.
