Job summary

Jakarta Global Hub is seeking an Internal Accountant to manage invoicing, AR/AP, VAT obligations, and financial reporting in a fast-paced, international environment. You will work with global teams and external auditors while ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 2+ years of experience, and strong Excel and Odoo ERP skills. You will join a team focused on growth and process improvements in Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Experience preparing VAT, withholding tax, and other tax-related reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
• Proficiency in Odoo ERP software is mandatory; other accounting software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Issue and manage approximately 200 sales invoices monthly.
• Maintain and update accounts receivable records daily.
• Prepare weekly AR reports, including a Red List of customers exceeding credit thresholds.
• Distribute weekly automated payment reminder emails using company templates.
• Record, reconcile, and upload payments for about 50 trade AP accounts.
• Prepare monthly VAT reporting (sales VAT, purchase VAT, withholding tax).
• Perform regular cash reconciliations for accuracy.
• Prepare monthly management reports (P&L, Balance Sheets, asset/liability reconciliations).
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Liaise with external auditors and support annual statutory audits.
