Job summary

Japanese Manufacturer in Indonesia seeks a Japanese Speaker Maintenance Asst. Manager to lead the maintenance team in a manufacturing setting. You will coach staff, translate business goals into annual maintenance plans, and ensure safe, efficient operations aligned with production requirements.

With 8+ years in maintenance/mold/dies, you will drive continuous improvement, collaborate with multiple functions, and implement preventive strategies to boost equipment reliability and uptime.

Qualifications

• D3 in mechanical or industrial engineering or related field.
• Japanese proficiency at JLPT N3 or higher.
• Minimum 8 years in maintenance, mold or dies in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the maintenance team with technical guidance and development.
• Translate business goals into annual maintenance plans and targets.
• Oversee daily maintenance to meet production, safety and quality needs.
• Investigate tooling/die issues and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Support Kaizen and continuous improvement for reliability and uptime.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality and other functions.
• Track progress and ensure timely completion of actions.
• Contribute to long-term preventive maintenance strategies.
• Other tasks as assigned.
