Job summary

Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH invites applications for a Trainee on Project Management Assistance with the JETP Delivery Unit in Jakarta. The role focuses on planning, coordination, monitoring, documentation, and communication of JETP-related activities within an international development context.

The trainee will work closely with the JDU Coordinator and team members to document and organize the unit's activities, reports, events, and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or final-year student) in Project Management, Public Policy, International Relations, Engineering, Communications, or related fields.
• Prior internship or volunteering experience in development projects, NGOs or research institutions is advantageous.
• Knowledge of sustainable development, energy transition, climate change, international development cooperation is desirable.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of JETP project progress reports and updates.
• Assist with event preparation, speaker coordination, and participant follow-up.
• Support the Communications Specialist in preparing materials for communication and presentations.
• Assist with meeting documentation, minutes, and action-plan tracking.
