Wesco in Jakarta seeks a motivated Import & Customs Operations Staff to support logistics and import operations. The role requires hands-on freight forwarding experience and a solid understanding of Indonesian import‑export regulations and customs procedures.

You will coordinate with PPJK, warehouses, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth customs clearance, timely deliveries, and compliant documentation. Strong English communication is essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) or Diploma (D3) in any discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in freight forwarding, logistics, import‑export, or customs‑related environment.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian import‑export regulations and customs procedures.
• Experience reviewing PIB and other customs documents.
• Experience coordinating with PPJK, freight forwarders, warehouses, and customs authorities.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Strong administrative and coordination skills.
• Willing to learn and adapt to new processes and challenges.
• preferably Jakarta-based with commute ≤ 1 hour.

Mansioni

• Review and verify import documentation, including PIB and supporting customs documents.
• Coordinate with PPJK, freight forwarders, and customs‑related parties to ensure efficient clearance.
• Monitor import and export shipments for compliance with Indonesian regulations.
• Liaise with warehouses for goods receiving, inventory coordination, and deliveries to customers.
• Ensure all import/export documentation is complete and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Follow up on shipment status and resolve operational issues related to logistics and customs clearance.
• Communicate with internal departments and external service providers to support supply chain activities.
• Maintain records and reports related to import, export, and customs operations.
