Job summary

Airswift is seeking a senior bridge/major civil-structure engineer to join its Jakarta office. The role focuses on developing bridge models, delivering structural design outputs, and producing technical documentation for complex energy, chemicals and resources projects in a global engineering environment.

The candidate should have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and typically 10+ years of experience in reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete and structural steel bridge design,

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Typically 10+ years of bridge or major civil-structure design experience.
• Experience with reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete and structural steel bridge design.
• Experience preparing coordinated, construction-ready drawings, calculations, specs, and reports.
• Experience developing bridge models and designing superstructures, substructures, foundations, bearings and joints.
• Experience coordinating bridge approaches and foundations with geotechnical, civil, drainage and road requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support development of bridge models and structural design deliverables.
• Prepare technical documentation and coordinated engineering solutions across superstructure, substructure and foundation packages.
• Contribute to design reviews, site visits and technical queries.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure constructability and quality.
