Job summary

Adecco Portugal seeks an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join the IT team in Jakarta. The role focuses on supporting, maintaining, and improving the organization's IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and operational excellence across data centre and enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of IT infrastructure experience, with strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V/Nutanix), storage, networks, and cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• 5–8 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, System Administration, or IT Operations
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
• Strong knowledge of VMware, Hyper‑V, or other virtualization platforms
• Strong knowledge of enterprise storage and backup solutions
• Strong knowledge of network technologies (TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, Switching)
• Experience with firewall technologies such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
• Experience with vulnerability management and cybersecurity best practices

Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization platforms, and operating systems
• Administer Windows Server and Linux environments
• Support virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper‑V, or Nutanix
• Monitor system performance, capacity, availability, and security
• Perform system upgrades, patch management, and vulnerability remediation activities
• Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and identity management solutions
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
• Support network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related incidents and service requests
• Work closely with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security standards and policies
