Job summary

Asetku is seeking an IT Officer to prioritize and resolve IT support requests, and to purchase, manage, install, and maintain IT hardware, software, and related equipment. The role also includes coordinating with external providers and handling quotations and reporting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, 1–2 years’ IT support experience, and strong problem solving, organization, and time management skills; ISO/IEC 27001 familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field.
• 1–2 years of IT Support/Officer experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and hardware.
• Experience with troubleshooting and software installation.
• Familiarity with information security standards (ISO/IEC 27001) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and resolve IT support requests.
• Purchase and manage IT hardware, software, and related equipment.
• Install, maintain, and provide daily support for servers and Windows hardware/software, including printers and scanners.
• Coordinate with ISPs, email providers, hardware vendors, and software suppliers.
• Manage quotations and purchase receipts for IT requirements.
• Provide data for regular departmental reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer data and ensure database security.
