Japfa is seeking a proactive IT Support Specialist to respond to and resolve IT requests from staff across departments. You will install, configure, and maintain hardware and software, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices, to keep the workstations ready.

You will diagnose connectivity issues, assist with Office 365 and ERP applications, manage user accounts in Active Directory, and document resolutions to build a knowledge base.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of IT support experience, preferably corporate.
• Proficient with Windows (10/11) and Microsoft Office 365.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and troubleshooting.
• Experience with desktops, laptops, printers hardware installation and support.
• Basic Active Directory knowledge for user and computer management.
• Strong problem-solving and customer-service oriented communication.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to and resolve IT support requests and incidents from employees across various departments via phone, email, and in-person.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting, including diagnosing connectivity issues, configuring network settings, and assisting with Wi-Fi access.
• Provide support for common business applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, and internal communication tools.
• Assist with user account management, including creating, modifying, and disabling accounts in Active Directory and other systems.
• Document IT support procedures, common issues, and resolutions to build a comprehensive knowledge base.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on IT equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level IT personnel or external vendors when necessary.
• Participate in IT projects as required, such as system upgrades, migrations, and new software implementations.
• Educate users on IT best practices and security awareness.
