The role
About the role
We are looking for an IT Project Manager to own the end-to-end delivery of large, technically complex projects. This is a hands‑on delivery role, not a status‑reporting role. You will run the plan, the budget, and the client relationship, and you will be expected to understand what your engineers are actually building.
That means you can sit in an architecture discussion and follow it, challenge an estimate because you understand what the work involves, and explain a technical trade‑off to a client in language they can act on. You do not need to write production code, but you do need to know how software gets built, tested, and released.
About the company
PT Noxus Ideata Prima builds enterprise application software for multinational corporations, state‑owned enterprises, and Indonesian government institutions.
Our engineering work spans a modern polyglot stack, including event‑driven systems and long‑running workflows. Our clients operate under real regulatory scrutiny, so quality is not something we check at the end. It is a discipline we apply at every stage of delivery.
Why you will want to join
You own the plan, the budget, and the client conversation. Decisions are made in the room you are in, not somewhere above you.
02 Projects that actually matter
Enterprise systems for government institutions, banks, and state‑owned enterprises, running under real regulatory scrutiny.
03 Engineers who will talk to you properly
Our teams work spec‑driven and gated, so you get honest status and real evidence instead of optimistic percentages.
What you will do
The work itself
01 Delivery ownership
- Provide planning, analysis, and oversight, and lead end‑to‑end delivery from inception through to handover for large and complex technology projects, or for key workstreams within larger programmes.
- Break work down into phases, milestones, and sprints, and build a plan that reflects real technical dependencies rather than wishful sequencing.
- Manage scope actively, with a change‑control process that makes the cost and schedule impact of every change visible before it is agreed.
- Identify, log, and actively manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, and elevate early rather than at the point of failure.
02 Commercial and resource management
- Track costs against budget accurately and on time, manage project invoicing, process timesheets for allocated technical resources, monitor expenditure, and produce metrics for performance analysis.
- Plan resourcing across the project lifecycle, and flag capacity gaps and skill gaps before they become delays.
- Coordinate third‑party vendors, subcontractors, and client‑side technical teams where a project depends on them.
03 Stakeholder and client management
- Lead communications and work collaboratively with business owners and stakeholders to deliver the best outcome for the customer.
- Run steering committee and progress meetings, and give an honest read on status, risk, and confidence rather than a comfortable one.
- Translate between technical teams and business stakeholders in both directions, so that requirements arrive complete and constraints are understood.
- Manage client expectations on scope, timeline, and cost, including the difficult conversations when something has slipped.
- Operate across multiple teams to keep delivery aligned, and provide systematic solutions to problems that arise during the project lifecycle, including using influence where you have no direct authority.
- Work with technical leads and architects on solution decisions, sequencing, and technical debt, so that delivery pressure does not quietly destroy quality.
- Coordinate releases, deployments, environment readiness, cutover, and go‑live planning with the engineering and QA teams.
05 Governance, quality, and process
- Support and contribute to project governance deliverables, and establish and enforce standard operating procedures, quality standards, regular progress reporting, and escalation paths.
- Serve as Scrum Master in an Agile environment, directing and coordinating day‑to‑day activities, tasks, sprints, retrospectives, stand‑ups, and deliverables.
- Make sure quality gates are genuinely met before sign‑off, including specification verification, testing evidence, and security review, and hold the gate when the evidence is not there.
- Own project documentation and the handover pack, including plans, decision logs, acceptance records, and operational handover to support teams.
06 Closure and improvement
- Conduct post‑project evaluation and identify which project elements succeeded and which did not.
- Feed lessons learned back into our estimation, planning, and delivery practices so the next project starts better than the last one.
