Job summary
PT Indocyber Global Teknologi is seeking a Performance Tester to design, develop and execute performance and load tests for applications and systems in Jakarta.
You will create test scenarios and data using Apache JMeter, analyze results, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with Developers, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to drive improvements. Monitoring during tests and reporting are key responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in performance testing.
- Hands-on Apache JMeter experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, and web apps.
- Experience with load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.

- Analyze test results and identify bottlenecks, performance degradation, and system capacity issues.
- Work closely with Developers, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
- Prepare performance test reports, analysis, and recommendations for system improvement.

- Support performance testing throughout the SDLC and ensure applications meet defined performance criteria.

- Mandatory hands-on experience with Apache JMeter.
- Strong understanding of performance testing concepts and methodologies.
- Experienced in load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.
- Good understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, REST API, JSON, and web applications.
- Able to analyze response time, throughput, TPS, error rate, and resource utilization.
- Familiar with SQL/database performance analysis.
- Experience with performance monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or similar is a plus.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
