Job summary

PT TSM Technologies in Indonesia seeks a Senior Hardware Engineer Manager to lead end-to-end hardware development from schematic to mass production. You will guide cross-functional teams while ensuring quality, cost control, and schedules in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires IoT 4G experience, strong embedded hardware knowledge, and hands-on PCB design with mass production capabilities. English fluency is essential; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronics engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years in device or hardware development.
• 2–3 years in a manager or lead role.
• Experience in IoT 4G development is required.
• Strong hardware, embedded, and firmware integration knowledge.
• Hands-on PCB design, prototyping, and mass production experience.
• Experience with CE, FCC, ISO certifications.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum, PRDs, risk assessment, and QC.
• Solid supply chain and vendor management understanding.
• Able to lead cross-functional teams and manage budgets and timelines.
• Excellent communication; fluent English; Mandarin a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop schematic, PCB layout, and BOM from prototype to mass production.
• Verify, test, and analyze technical issues and drive resolution.
• Collaborate with firmware, ID/MD engineers, and tech support teams.
• Create and maintain hardware documents and specifications.
• Research new technologies and platforms as needed.
