Job summary

PT Geo Tekno Globalindo is seeking an experienced IoT Engineer to join our team in Jakarta. You will work on cargo tank monitoring, fuel oil/CPO monitoring, and industrial sensor and telemetry systems.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field and hands-on experience with ESP32/STM32, Python, C++, and industrial communications. Strong documentation and project ownership are required, with preferred familiarity in IP ratings and enclosure design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related engineering field.
• Detail-oriented and organized in technical work and documentation.
• Responsible and committed to project ownership.
• Experience with Fuel/CPO/Fluid Monitoring Systems in refinery or industrial environments is preferred.

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong IoT Engineer to join our team. The engineer will be involved in projects related to:

• Cargo Tank Monitoring Systems for marine vessels.
• Fuel Oil / CPO Monitoring Systems for refinery and industrial facilities.
• Industrial sensor, telemetry, and data communication systems.

Requirements

1. 1. Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or other related engineering disciplines.
2. 2. Detail-oriented and organized in both technical work and documentation.
3. 3. Responsible and committed to project ownership.

Preferred candidates should have experience with:

• Fuel/CPO/Fluid Monitoring Systems in refinery or industrial environments
• IoT-based industrial monitoring systems

5. Electronics & Electrical Engineering

Candidates should understand:

• Electronic circuit and PCB design
• Industrial electronic component selection and analysis
• Power consumption calculation and battery/power supply sizing

6. Mechanical & Industrial Design

Candidates should understand:

• 3D mechanical and industrial enclosure design
• Piping systems, tanks, valves, and welding concepts
• Engineering calculations and technical analysis
• IP Rating standards and implementation methods
• Industrial connectors and interface selection

7. Programming & Embedded Systems

Candidates should have experience with:

• Programming languages such as Python, C#, C++, and Lua
• Embedded programming using ESP32, STM32, PLCs, and similar devices
• Backend application and service development

Candidates should understand industrial communication systems including:

Experience working with industrial and IoT devices such as: fuel level sensors, flowmeters, Automatic Tank Gauges (ATG), GPS trackers, PLCs, RTUs, data loggers, industrial modems, IoT gateways
