Job summary

Tetra Data in Jakarta, Indonesia, is seeking an IoT Engineer responsible for connecting physical devices to software systems, SCADA environments, and cloud platforms. You will work with CCTV, sensors, and meters to ensure reliable data transmission and support end-to-end IoT implementations.

You will implement data pipelines, configure Modbus, MQTT, HTTP, or TCP/IP, and collaborate with backend and frontend teams to ensure accurate data consumption and visualization in field deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience in integrating devices and industrial equipment (CCTV, meters, sensors).
• Familiarity with SCADA architectures and data acquisition concepts.
• Knowledge of Modbus RTU/TCP, MQTT, HTTP, or TCP/IP protocols.

Responsibilities

• Integrate IoT systems with SCADA platforms for industrial monitoring and control.
• Understand and work with SCADA architectures including PLCs, RTUs, and HMIs.
• Integrate devices into centralized systems and develop data pipelines to cloud platforms.
• Configure and manage communication protocols (Modbus, MQTT, HTTP, TCP/IP).
• Ensure reliable and secure data transmission from edge devices to cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with backend and frontend teams for data consumption and visualization.
• Monitor device connectivity, data flow, and system health.
• Document integration processes and data flow architecture.
