Job summary

PT. CKWI, an established furniture export company serving wholesale and online retailers in the United States, seeks an Inventory Planning Specialist to support shipment planning, inventory management, and cross-functional coordination with factories and our US buyer/warehouse.

You will plan and monitor shipments from factories to the US buyer's warehouse, maintain optimal inventory levels, and prepare replenishment plans based on sales and lead times. English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory planning, supply chain, logistics, demand planning, or related role.
• Experience in inventory control and shipment/production planning.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and lookup formulas.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to handle multiple tasks.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems is a plus.
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor shipments from factories to the US buyer's warehouse based on orders, inventory levels, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with factories on production status, Cargo Ready Dates, and shipment readiness.
• Monitor inventory levels at the buyer's warehouse and identify low-stock, overstock, and slow-moving items.
• Prepare replenishment plans based on sales, inventory levels, lead times, and upcoming shipments.
• Track production and shipment progress and follow up on any potential delays or issues.
• Coordinate with factories, logistics teams, warehouses, and the US buyer to ensure smooth product flow.
• Maintain accurate inventory, shipment, and planning data.
• Prepare regular inventory and shipment reports and provide updates on potential inventory risks.
• Analyze inventory and shipment data to support planning and replenishment decisions.
• Follow up and resolve inventory discrepancies, shipment issues, and other supply-related problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in inventory planning, supply chain, logistics, demand planning, or a similar role.
• Experience in inventory control and shipment/production planning.
• Good understanding of inventory management, replenishment, production lead times, and shipment processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and common formulas such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to follow up on multiple tasks and issues.
• Able to work and communicate effectively with factories, suppliers, logistics teams, warehouses, and overseas customers.
• Experience working with US-based customers, wholesalers, retailers, or e-commerce businesses is a plus.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems is a plus.
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
