Job summary

You will provide critical communication support to individuals with language barriers through telephone and video calls. The ideal candidate has strong listening skills, a B2 English proficiency level, and the ability to remain neutral during interpretations. This role is contract-based and allows for permanent remote work.

• Excellent listening, retention and note‑taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy
• Ability to concentrate, stay detached from the conversation, and always remain neutral and objective

• Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication

Responsibilities

• Provide language interpretation from one language to another for individuals with language barriers to understand and communicate with each other
• Handle telephone or video calls on demand and render the meaning of conversations in consecutive mode of interpretation between speakers of English
• Process information quickly and concisely, recognize sensitive cultural differences, and always maintain professionalism and courtesy
• Use appropriate industry terminology and understand common industry procedures and practices. The calls may involve simple or complex, non‑technical or technical subjects in Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Finance, Utilities, Travel and Hospitality, 911 emergency services, Law Enforcement, Courts, and General Business.
