You will develop policies, perform risk assessments, and collaborate with multiple departments to remediate control gaps and support audits.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field.
• 5+ years in internal risk control, compliance, audit, or governance.
• Knowledge of COSO, ISO 9001 or similar standards.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial risk assessments.
• Understanding Indonesian regulatory requirements for manufacturing.

Responsibilities

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Internal Risk Control Specialist to join PT CONTEMPORARY AMPEREX TECHNOLOGY INDONESIA BATTERY. This is a full-time position based in Karawang, West Java, offering a strategic opportunity to shape and strengthen our internal control framework and risk management processes. In this role, you will play a crucial part in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across our organisation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and safeguarding our assets and reputation. You will work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust control mechanisms that support our operational excellence and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive internal risk control policies, procedures, and frameworks that align with industry best practices and regulatory standards

Conduct regular risk assessments across all operational departments to identify potential vulnerabilities, control gaps, and areas of non-compliance

Design and execute control testing procedures to evaluate the effectiveness of existing internal controls and recommend enhancements where necessary

Monitor and document compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and contractual obligations across the organisation

Prepare detailed risk assessment reports and compliance documentation for senior management and regulatory bodies

Collaborate with finance, operations, and other departments to implement corrective actions and remediate identified risks and control deficiencies

Maintain and update risk registers, control matrices, and other risk management documentation

Conduct training and awareness sessions for employees on internal control procedures, compliance requirements, and risk management principles

Support internal and external audit activities by providing relevant documentation, explanations, and evidence of control implementation

Monitor emerging risks and regulatory changes that may impact the organisation, and advise management accordingly

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

5+ years of professional experience in internal risk control, compliance, audit, or a similar governance-focused role

Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks such as COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organisations), ISO 9001, or similar internationally recognised standards

Demonstrated experience in risk assessment methodologies and control design within a manufacturing or industrial environment

In-depth understanding of Indonesian regulatory requirements and compliance obligations, particularly for manufacturing and battery production facilities

Proficiency in risk management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Access

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Indonesian

Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret complex data and identify control weaknesses

Proven ability to work independently, prioritise multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines

Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and reporting

Professional certifications such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or CRMA (Certification in Risk Management Assurance) are highly desirable
