Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an active undergraduate student in Industrial Engineering for a process-improvement internship in Jakarta. You will analyze processes to identify NVA activities and implement improvement actions, while standardizing workflows and updating procedures to support daily operations.

The role involves coordinating with multiple internal teams and tracking quality issues to enhance operational flexibility.

Qualifications

  • Active undergraduate student in Industrial Engineering or related majors; up to 8th semester.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest in process improvement and operational excellence.
  • Knowledgeable in lean and process improvement principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing processes to identify Non-Value-Added (NVA) activities.
  • Propose and implement improvement actions to eliminate identified NVA activities.

  • Review TS & I2P procedures and update related documents (procedures, work instructions, forms, and templates) to support daily operations more effectively.
  • Review STS processes and develop mitigation actions to improve flexibility.
  • Track quality-related issues, including XA/Containment Actions and PRBs associated with Indonesia.
  • Support Technical Returns (RFA), including internal coordination for data collection and product returns to factories, working closely with Factory, DHL, Export, and relevant internal teams.
