Job summary

Schneider Electric Indonesia offers an internship opportunity for an undergraduate Industrial Engineering student to help analyze and improve our processes in Jakarta. You will identify non-value-added activities, propose improvements, and help standardize workflows to support daily operations more effectively.

You will gain hands-on experience in lean methods, data collection, and cross-functional collaboration within a global company, with hybrid work arrangements and access to Total Rewards

Qualifications

• Active undergraduate student (D3/D4/S1) in Industrial Engineering or related majors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Interested in process improvement and operational excellence.
• Knowledgeable in lean and process improvement principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing processes to identify Non-Value-Added (NVA) activities.
• Propose and implement improvement actions to eliminate identified NVA activities.
• Standardize and optimize processes based on agreed improvement actions.
• Review TS & I2P procedures and workflows, and update related documents to support daily operations more effectively.
• Review STS processes and develop mitigation actions to improve flexibility.
• Track quality-related issues, including XA/Containment Actions and PRBs associated with Indonesia.
• Support Technical Returns (RFA), including internal coordination for data collection and product returns to factories, working closely with Factory, DHL, Export, and relevant internal teams.

What will you do?
