Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an enthusiastic student intern to support process mapping, data collection, and improvement initiatives within our Kaizen and digital transformation tracks. You will assist in workshop prep, documentation, and tracking, while helping deploy digital tools across functions.

Ideal candidates are rising undergraduates in engineering or data analytics with strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and a passion for process optimization. Hybrid work setup offered.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate student (max 7th semester) studying Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related disciplines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Basic understanding of Lean/Kaizen, business processes, or digital transformation is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Minitab, or similar tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in process mapping, data collection, analysis, and improvement initiatives.
  • Support Kaizen activities, including workshop preparation, documentation, and action tracking.
  • Assist in the deployment and adoption of digital tools across business functions.
  • Monitor project milestones, user adoption, and KPI performance.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, SOPs, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to support implementation and follow-up activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, change management, and digital enablement programs.

Support operational excellence and digital transformation initiatives through process improvement, data analysis, project coordination, and digital tool deployment. Interns may be assigned to either the Kaizen Support or Digitization Support track based on business needs and individual profiles.

What will you do:

What qualifications will make you successful:
Education
  • Undergraduate student (max 7th semester) studying:
    • Industrial Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Information Systems
    • Computer Science
    • Data Analytics
    • Or other related disciplines
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and data management skills.
  • Basic understanding of Lean/Kaizen, business processes, or digital transformation is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Minitab, or similar tools is a plus.
