About the role
We are looking for an Interior Designer to support our client's design team in developing design concepts, layouts, presentations, and technical drawings across a portfolio of residential and office interior projects — think homes, apartments, workplaces, and corporate offices. This role provides operational support to the client's core Singapore / international team. You will help translate client requirements into compelling spatial realities, balancing the comfort, functionality, and personal style of residential spaces with the practical, brand-driven demands of office environments — all while ensuring accuracy and adherence to project timelines.
Key responsibilities
Prepare detailed construction and technical drawings for seamless execution of residential and office projects.
Develop test-fit layouts and space plans based on precise client requirements, applying residential planning principles (room flow, zoning, storage, lighting) and office standards (workstation ratios, circulation, meeting-room mix).
Produce color and material plans that clearly communicate the design concept and finishes, with attention to durability, maintenance, and practicality for both home and workplace settings.
Prepare engaging design presentations and comprehensive proposals for client review.
Prepare accurate drawings and documentation for contractor quotations.
Revise drawings and designs promptly based on project and client feedback.
Coordinate closely with the design team and project stakeholders — architects, MEP, FF&E, and contractors — to ensure drawings are accurate and consistent.
Complete all assigned work strictly within the required timeline and to the expected quality standard.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
Proven experience as an Interior Designer or Draftsperson, ideally spanning residential and office projects (mid-level experience preferred).
Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g. AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with international teams and interpret client feedback.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work independently within project deadlines.
Full Legal Compliance: Official employment contract adhering fully to Indonesian Manpower Law (as amended, including Law No. 13 of 2003 and its subsequent revisions).
Healthcare & Security: Comprehensive coverage for BPJS Kesehatan and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.
Religious Holiday Allowance: Annual mandatory Religious Holiday Allowance (THR) paid in accordance with Indonesian government regulations.
