Job summary

MateCareer is seeking a hands-on Facility Maintenance Technician in Semarang to perform essential building upkeep across electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC domains. You will collaborate with vendors and internal teams to keep offices safe, functional, and compliant.

Responsibilities span preventive checks, basic repairs, equipment troubleshooting, and coordinating with specialized HVAC and refrigeration technicians to resolve issues quickly.

Responsibilities

• Replace lighting (bulbs, ballasts, LEDs).
• Troubleshoot electrical issues in office equipment.
• Patch and paint walls; repair doors, locks, and windows.
• Assemble and repair office furniture; basic concrete/casting work.
• Fix leaky taps; unclog sinks and toilets; replace water filter.
• Fix toilet components.
• Perform basic filter changes; clean vents; identify issues for HVAC vendor.
• Perform basic maintenance for refrigeration equipment (fridges, vending machines, chillers, freezers).
• Conduct regular facility checks to identify leaks, damaged tiles, or faulty fittings.

Job description

Electrical

• Replace lighting (bulbs, ballasts, LEDs), repair power outlets, switches, and small distribution boards.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues in office equipment.

Civil & Carpentry

• Patch and paint walls, repair doors, locks, and windows.
• Assemble and repair office furniture (chairs, desks, cabinets), perform basic concrete/casting work.

Plumbing

• Fix leaky taps, unclog sinks and toilets, replace water filter, and fix toilet components.

HVAC Support

• Perform basic filter changes, clean vents, and identify issues for the specialized HVAC vendor.

Refrigerant Maintenance

• Perform basic maintenance for all the refrigerant in company (Refrigerator, Vending Machine, Chiller, Freezer, etc.).

Preventive Maintenance

• Conduct regular checks of the facility to identify and resolve issues like water leaks, damaged tiles, or faulty fittings before they become major problems.
