Job summary

Nestlé Karawang Factory is seeking an Industrial & Employee Relations Manager to ensure HR compliance and maintain harmonious industrial relations with employees and unions. You will develop employee relations programs and oversee general services including transport, facilities, and security.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (preferably law or management), at least 5 years in a related position, and strong knowledge of Indonesian manpower regulations and CLA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably Law or Management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian manpower regulations and industrial relations.
• Employee Relations certification.
• Strong understanding of Collective Labor Agreements, company regulations, HR compliance, and third-party management.
• Good stakeholder networking and communication capabilities, with strong negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical capability, integrity, and service-excellence orientation.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 / Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure HR compliance through regular compliance assessments and audits.
• Develop and execute comprehensive employee and industrial relations programs to maintain harmonious relations between the company, employees, and labor unions.
• Manage regular bipartite meetings with labor unions and support effective management of industrial relations matters.
• Ensure the Collective Labor Agreement (CLA) remains valid and updated.
• Build effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including factory leadership, HR, government stakeholders, and labor unions.
• Manage third-party providers covering transportation, cleaning, gardening, sanitation, and security while ensuring service quality, compliance, and cost effectiveness.
• Ensure employee facilities such as lockers, laundry areas, and restrooms are properly maintained through the Master Sanitation Program.
• Conduct compliance audits of third-party service providers.
• Monitor security performance through regular performance meetings and ensure security procedures remain updated.
• Spend quality time on the shop floor, connecting and engaging with teams through coaching as part of Leadership at Shopfloor implementation.
