Job summary

ib vogt is seeking a Project Development Manager in Indonesia to drive and coordinate land acquisition, permitting, and related project development workstreams from tender through Ready-to-Build. You will engage with local stakeholders, manage budgets, and ensure compliance across multiple teams.

The role requires 5+ years in power plant development in Indonesia, strong vendor relationships, and English/Indonesian fluency. Excellent cross-functional coordination and TOR development are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in management or engineering design.
• Min 5 years in power plant development in Indonesia, with land acquisition & permitting experience.
• Proficiency in developing, vetting, and managing land-acquisition and permit progress including timeline & cost-control.
• Proficiency in calculating detailed budget breakdowns for land acquisition & permits.
• Strong communication with local stakeholders (landowners, government, vendors).
• Experience with government land/permit vetting tools and TOR creation.

Responsibilities

• Outline and coordinate land acquisition steps, cost items, and vendor management.
• Outline permitting steps, cost items, and coordination with external parties.
• Develop and coordinate TORs related to land acquisition and permits.
• Coordinate communications with local stakeholders and external parties for land acquisition and permitting.
• Conduct KYC and compliance checks on external vendors to mitigate risk.
• Coordinate information flow with Engineering, Investment, and Business Development teams.
• Assist in producing reports and papers on overall project development progress (PPA, land, permitting, studies).
